"For the last time Deidara-san, the answer is not 46!" The pink haired girl said to the blond boy sitting next to her, his pencil behind his ear. "But I really think it is, un!" He responded to her, frowing, and pointing at the math problem in front of them. "Well it's not! So do your work again, and tell me what you get!" She pointed at the paper with her pencil, getting a bit ticked that she had to tutor Deidara of all people. He always thought he was right, and she was about ready to punch him in the face. She stood up, and walked into her kitchen, looking for a can of soda. She grabbed a 7-up from the drawer, and looked over at Deidara, who was writing on the paper. Hopefully, it was math.
She opened the can and pulled a cup down from the shelf. She poured the soda into the cup, setting the can on the counter too drink later. She sipped the soda from the cup, walking back out to the living room where Deidara was. She looked down at the paper and frowned. "Deidara-san...this is math, not art class. Why are you drawing?" She says to him, sighing softly and sitting next to him again. "Because I'm bored and I suck at math, un." He responded, not looking up, and continuing on with his drawings. "Well if you actually did your homework, you wouldn't suck!" "Would too. The teachers all hate me, hmm." He said to her, still drawing. She grabbed his drawing from the ground, and set it next to her. "Sasori-sensai doesn't. Now work on that problem!" Deidara looked up and frowned at her. "Gimme that back Sakura, hmm!" He made a grab at it, but she moved it away. "Finish five problems and I'll give it back." She moved the paper so she was sitting on it, causing him to scowl at her.
"Fine." He started up on his math finally. After ten minutes he set his head in his hand, chewing on his pencil, looking frustrated. She looked at him and frowned slightly, "Would you like some help Deidara-san?" He looked over at her, then back at his paper, nodding his head slightly. She smiled, happy he was finally accepting help. She pointed at the problem he was working on, explaining it in ways he would understand. "...Oh! Then the answer would be...58, un?" He looked over at her hopfully. She smiled at him, nodding her head. "Yup! See? You can be good if you just think of it as something other then math!" He grinned at her, nodding his head. "Now try this one without help, okay?" He nodded his head again, looking at the page and starting to work on it. She sipped her soda again, pulling out her own homework from her backpack. "Is this right, hmm?" Deidara asked, picking up his notebook, and showing her. She looked over at the page and looked his work over. "Yup! Good job Deidara-san!" He grinned, looking proud of himself. He took his notebook back and started working on the other problems, as Sakura started working on her own.
"So what kind of Music do you like Sakura, un?" Deidara's voice broke the silence, causing Sakura jump a bit from the sudden noise. "Oh..Um...I like quiet music most of the time. None of that Heavy Metal crap.." She responded, still working on her homework. "And you Deidara-san?" "I like rock music, and some country, un!" He said to her, setting his pencil down and digging through his backpack. She looked over at him, then at his paper. "Did you finish your math?" "Yup!" He pulled something out of his backpack and turned to Sakura. "I think I know a song you might Sakura-chan, hmm!" She blinked at him and tilted her head to the side. "What song?" "It's called 'Concrete Angel', it's in American though, un." He nodded to himself, searching through his songs. "Oh I've heard that song before. It's a really good song!" She grinned at him, setting her own pencil down. He grinned back at her, setting down his mp3 player. "I didn't think anyone else here heard that song before, hmm!" She smiled softly at him. "Well do you have any other homework?" He frowned slightly, not wanting to talk about homework. "Can't we take a brake Sakura-chan, un~?" He whined to her. She blinked and looked at the clock. "Hm...I guess...." He grinned at her again. "Thank you Sakura-chan, hmm!"
She nodded her head, standing up again, and picking up her cup. She headed towards her kitchen again, and looked back at him. "Would you like something drink or snack on?" He nodded his head, standing as well. She walked into the kitchen and poured the rest of her soda into her cup. She had her back to Deidara, but she heard his footsteps on the floor. "You can have something from the drawer in the fridge with my name on it. I don't think my parents have anything thing in their's anyway.." She said too him, turning and setting herself on her counter. He nodded his head, opening the fridge, and opening up the drawer marked 'Sakura'. He dug around in it, looking for something good. He pulled out a 7-up and grinned, closing the drawer, and fridge door. He turned to Sakura, while opening the can up. "So Sakura-chan, any siblings, un?" She shook her head, setting her cup down and grinning. "I'm an only child and I love it!" Deidara laughed, nodding his head and grinning. "Being an only child rocks, doesn't it, un?" She grinned again, nodding her head. "Wannagooutonadatesometime, hmm?" Deidara asked suddenly, and quickly. "Um....What?" Sakura asked, not understanding him.
"I said...Wanna go out on a date sometime, un...?" He grinned innocently, a pink tint on his face. Sakura blushed slightly. She had to admit, Deidara was cute, and they had a lot in common. But there would be a problem. Her father. Seeing as how Deidara was 2 years older then her. "Uh...Sure Deidara-san! That would be fun!" She smiled softly at him. The eye she could see lit up. "Really!? I-I mean, cool! How about Saturday, hmm?" He said to her, grinning. She nodded her head, hopping off the counter. "That'd be fine. Now lets get back to homework, shall we?" She smiled at him, walking back to the living room. "Right, un!" He followed her, his soda in hand. They sat down, picking their pencils up. Deidara pulled out his history homework out of his backpack and started that.
"Hey Sakura-chan, un?" Deidara asked, looking up from his book. "Yes?" She looked over at him. He moved quickly, kissing her softly and quickly. He grinned, the pink tint back on his face. "Thanks for tutoring me." She blushed, but nodded her head.
